
One of my favorite breakfasts is rolled oats with roasted banana. It is amazingly delicious and a perfect start to the day.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F/190C.
- Place bananas on a lined baking sheet and prick a few times with a fork.
- Place in oven and roast 20 minutes. Allow to cool enough to handle.
- Pour milk and peeled bananas in a saucepan. Mash to combine.
- Add 1 cup rolled oats and a pinch of salt.
- Set the fire on medium-high and bring to a boil.
- Lower temperature and cook until desired texture.
- Add flavorings--cinnamon, nutmeg, agave syrup--to taste.
